Turkish Delights – Kaunos

Kaunos is an archaeological site located in southwestern Turkey near the town of Dalyan. It was an ancient Carian city that dates back to the 9th century BCE and holds significant historical and cultural importance. One of the notable features of Kaunos is its well-preserved theater, which offers a glimpse into the city’s past grandeur. The theater was constructed in the 2nd century BCE and could accommodate around 5,000 spectators. All photos taken with the Nikon Z6 and 14-30mm f/4 or 24-200mm f/4-6.3 lens.
