Hierapolis is an ancient city located in southwestern Turkey, near the town of Pamukkale. The city was founded in the 2nd century BCE and flourished during the Roman period. One of the main attractions is its well-preserved theater, which dates back to the 2nd century CE. Additionally, Hierapolis features various other structures and ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, the Nymphaeum, the Agora, and the city walls.
