Pergamon was an ancient Greek and Roman city located in western Turkey, near the modern-day town of Bergama. It was one of the most important and prosperous cities of the Hellenistic period and later became a center of Roman power and culture. It’s perched high on a hill, requiring a gondola to reach its acropolis. All photos taken with the Nikon Z6 and 14-30mm f/4 lens.
