The difficult travel question for me is not “Where to?” but rather “Which camera do I take?” As I’ve taken the Nikon Z6 along for the ride this year, I think I’ll switch to the Leica CL for Australia and New Zealand. As you read this, I should be on a flight from Los Angeles to Auckland that leaves on the 17th and arrives on the 19th thanks to the International Date Line.
This is my third attempt to get to these countries, the most recent try scrubbed in 2020 along with many other things. Not pictured here are the lenses I will be taking this trip: Super-Vario-Elmar-TL 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH (16-35mm equivalent) and Vario-Elmar-T 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH (27-84mm equivalent). Back in mid-January.
