In front of the War Memorial Museum is the consecrated ground of the Court of Honor and the Auckland Cenotaph. The cenotaph was designed as an empty tomb on a stark pedestal, without decoration or religious symbols and simply inscribed to “The Glorious Dead.” Both photos taken with the Leica CL and the 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 Super-Vario-Elmar-TL lens (16-35mm equivalent). Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Silver Efex Pro.
