New Zealand – Napier (3 of 4)

Napier is known as the Art Deco Capital of the world. Nowhere else is there such a variety of buildings in the styles of the 1930s–Stripped Classical, Spanish Mission, and above all Art Deco. Napier’s Art Deco is unique, with Maori motifs and the buildings of Louis Hay, admirer of the great Frank Lloyd Wright. All images created using the Leica CL with 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 Super-Vario-Elmar-TL (16-35mm equivalent) or 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 Vario-Elmar-T (27-84mm equivalent) lens. Processed using Photoshop CC with either Nik Collection’s Color or Silver Efex Pro.
