São Tomé’s Old Quarter is its historic center, home to numerous buildings dating back to Portuguese colonial times, characterized by their colorful facades and traditional designs. The area is also home to the Cathedral of São Tomé, one of the oldest cathedrals in Africa with a history dating back to the 16th century, along with the Presidential Palace and Independence Square, commemorating the country’s independence from Portugal in 1975. All images created using the Nikon Z6 with 14-30mm f/4 or 24-70mm f/4 lens. Processed using Photoshop CC with Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro.
