The Songsan-ri Tombs, located in Gongju, South Korea, are a cluster of royal burial mounds from the Baekje Kingdom, which flourished from the 1st century BCE to the 7th century CE. Constructed from brick in a distinctive Chinese-influenced style, the tombs also reflect the kingdom’s connections with neighboring cultures. Today, the Songsan-ri Tombs stand as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a testament to Baekje’s cultural sophistication and historical significance in Korean history.
