The village earned UNESCO World Heritage designation in 2010 for its outstanding reflection of Confucian aristocratic life, traditional architecture, and ritual culture. Visitors can sample living history by wandering among both thatched cottages of commoners and tiled-roof homes of the noble Ryu family—including six buildings classed as national treasures. The village is also home to a Presbyterian church, known for its traditional architecture and peaceful setting. All photos created with the Nikon Z6 and either the 14-30mm f/4 or 24-70mm f/4 lens.
