Little India in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, is a vibrant cultural enclave that reflects the rich traditions of Malaysia’s Indian community. Originally developed in the early 20th century as a residential and administrative area for workers on the nearby railway depot, Brickfields gradually became home to a large Indian population, many of whom were brought in during the British colonial era to work on the railways and in government services. Over time, the neighborhood transformed into one of the most prominent centers of Indian culture in Malaysia. All photos created with the Nikon Z6 and either the 14-30mm f/4 or 24-70mm f/4 lens. Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro.
