Zamir Gotta was Anthony Bourdain’s fixer for the Russia episode of his first travel show, A Cook’s Tour. They instantly hit it off and Zamir was either his fixer or guest for another nine episodes of his following shows, No Reservations and Parts Unknown. Zamir has now written a memior, The Fixer and the Chef, about his time before and after working with Bourdain, which I highly recommend.
