2015 Re-edits: Dublin

Europe, International Travel, Photography

I enjoy re-editing older photos. One, I hope I’ve gained some skills I didn’t possess when I originally edited the photos. Second, it gives me a chance to go back through the originals and see if I spot something I missed the first time around. I’m still playing with photos from 2015, in this case finding a new favorite I didn’t come across at the time from Dublin’s Temple Bar district.

Circular Fisheye Project: Manhattan Beach

Fisheye, Photography, Southern California

A friend of ours was visiting from England and staying near LAX, so we came out to LA to spend the day with her. Just a little south of LAX is Manhattan Beach. We headed there for lunch and for me to try out the circular fisheye lens in a pier/beach setting. As I’ve mentioned before, lens flare can be a real issue with this lens, but I like how it turned out in this shot. (You can read about the origins of this project here.)
