Vietnam — Hoi An (Hai Van Pass)

It’s a four-hour bus ride from Hue to Hoi An. About halfway to Hoi An we reach Hai Van Pass. The pass once formed the boundary between the kingdoms of Dai Viet and Champa and now forms a boundary between the climates of northern and southern Vietnam. The site is also home to some old French and slightly less old American bunkers.

Photos taken March 2014 (Nikon D7000).

Back to Vietnam.
