Puerto Rico — San Juan (Castillo de San Cristobal)

Castillo de San Cristóbal, a 16th-century citadel comprised of six levels. The fort is a maze of tunnels, dungeons, barracks, outposts and ramps. Castillo de San Cristóbal is studded with small, circular sentry boxes called “garitas” that have become a national symbol. We also come across a World War II lookout offering some interesting views.
