Belize — Caye Caulker

It’s a one-hour ride on a packed ferry from the mainland to the island of Caye Caulker, a small limestone coral island off the coast of Belize in the Caribbean Sea measuring about 5 miles (8 km) north to south by less than 1 mile (1.6 km) east to west. While many prefer to go snorkeling, I explore the island for a few hours, catching some views of the sea and coming across its small cemetery, complete with bike path running down the middle.

Photos taken December 2013 (Nikon D7000).
