My first ever photography award was 2nd Place in the Architecture category of the 2016 APA Awards. American Photographic Artists (APA) is a leading national organization run by and for professional photographers and it was clear looking at 1st and 3rd Place winners in my category that I was up against professional architecture photographers. I haven’t submitted again till this year in the Travel/Landscape category and just learned I’ve won 2nd Place again. Winners will be officially announced in the coming weeks and a book of winners will be printed in the APA Awards book.
