Caribbean Cruise – St. Kitts

Basseterre, the capital city of St. Kitts, has a rich history dating back to its founding by the French and the English in the 17th century. The city was a significant port during colonial times and served as a major center for trade and commerce. This history is reflected in the city’s architecture, which includes many beautiful colonial-era buildings such as St. George’s Anglican Church. The city’s main attraction is the Independence Square, a large public square located in the heart of the city. The square is surrounded by historic buildings, including the Treasury Building, which was once used as the island’s colonial treasury. All photos taken with the Leica CL and either the Super-Vario-Elmar-T 11-23mm (16-35mm equivalent) or Vario-Elmar-T 18-56mm (27 – 84mm equivalent) lens. Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro 5.
