As we’ve now returned from our cruise consisting of Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Shetland, along with ports in Norway and Sweden, I thought I’d share a few of the challenges of cruising in this part of the world.

Challenge #4 – It’s Cold!

This native Southern Californian doesn’t do well in the cold. For this trip, I forgot gloves and my jacket was not nearly as warm as I thought it would be. Most everyone had sniffles or coughs developing halfway through the cruise.
