Nordic Cruise – Nuuk, Greenland (1 of 3)

After two days at sea, we arrive in Greenland. However, due to icebergs, our first port of call is cancelled and we spend another day at sea with the ship’s fog horn blaring every few minutes. The next day we are able to dock in Nuuk, the capital of and most populous city in Greenland, an autonomous territory in the Kingdom of Denmark. Greenlandic architecture is very distinct, with its many colored houses placed on sloping hillsides, though there are also large apartment blocks that tower above the wooden houses. All photos taken with the Nikon Z6 and 14-30mm f/4 or 24-200mm f/4-6.3 lens. Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro.
