Lerwick is the capital and largest town of the Shetland Islands, which are located to the northeast of mainland Scotland. Shetland is an archipelago that consists of about 100 islands, 16 of which are inhabited. The history of Shetland is intertwined with Norse and Scottish history. The islands were under Norse rule for many centuries before becoming part of Scotland in the 15th century.All photos taken with the Nikon Z6 and 14-30mm f/4 or 24-200mm f/4-6.3 lens.
