The La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná is the most impressive and best-preserved Jesuit mission in Paraguay and one of the finest surviving examples of the Jesuit-Guaraní reductions in South America. Founded in 1706, it served as a thriving religious, cultural, and economic center where Jesuit missionaries and the Indigenous Guaraní people lived and worked together.
