As a follow-up to last year’s travel tales collection, Can’t Get Here From There, I am working on compiling my travel journals from over the years, with the first volume covering 2006 – 2010. While I’m going through these journals, I thought I’d share some images from them. One of the journals from this time covers Tunisia and Panama. Due to ink bleed, I only wrote on one side of the page, leaving the blank side for either notes or additions. For some of these pages, I attached the numerous photo permits I had to purchase in Tunisia. This first one is for El Jem, home to the ruins of a Roman amphitheater. The cost was less than $1.
