As we’ve now returned from our cruise consisting of Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Shetland, along with ports in Norway and Sweden, I thought I’d share a few of the challenges of cruising in this part of the world.

Challenge #3 – Sea Days

A lot of distance is covered, which means a lot of sea days. We had two scheduled from Iceland to Greenland and three from Greenland to Faroe Islands. Not being able to visit Paamiut due to weather meant another sea day, giving us a total of six sea days out of 15 days at sea. I spent them editing photos and working on my next book.
