The last time I was here, one was able to go pretty much anywhere and everywhere. We’d hopped on the first bus of the morning and arrived at a practically empty site, where we were able to climb and descend as we pleased. Today is very different. You are assigned a timed ticket, which is valid for ninety minutes and is set along one of three fixed routes. Your guide keeps you on this route and on time. This is due to the overtourism of the location. We’re on the route that offers the classic view of the site, but little more. All photos created using the Nikon Z8 with the Nikkor 14-30mm f/4 or 24-200mm f/4 lens. Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro.
