My second destination today is another fishing village. It’s about a thirty minute ferry ride from Marken to Volendam and the water is relatively calm. As I tend to do, I spend the crossing creating photos. As I’m shooting from a moving object, I increase my shutter speed and steady myself against the railing when needed. Fortunately, the weather appears to be clearing a little and the sky is dramatic.
