Architecture is one of my favorite subjects to photograph and below is one of my first attempts with the circular fisheye lens. The doorway below once belonged to the Shrine Children’s Home, operated from 1927 until 1935. At its height, the site included a chapel, swimming pool, dining hall, boys’ and girls’ dormitories, infirmary, several playgrounds, and a large garden area. Today the remaining buildings are privately owned as either apartments or single dwellings. (You can read about the origins of this project here.)
