The Mirador del Maíz (“Corn Viewpoint”) is a scenic overlook featuring a decorative structure shaped like a corn cob on top, located within the Sacred Valley of the Incas near Cusco, Peru. It offers expansive panoramic views of the Urubamba River Valley and surrounding Andean peaks, highlighting the deep agricultural and cultural heritage of corn cultivation in the Incan Empire. A small association of local women and artisans often set up stalls here, selling traditional textiles, souvenirs, and snacks. All photos created using the Nikon Z8 with the Nikkor 14-30mm f/4 or 24-200mm f/4 lens. Processed using Photoshop CC and Nik Collection’s Color Efex Pro.
